The Spectrum of Rights

Creative Commons licenses make it simple to manage the copyright terms that are attached to material, both creative and containing content, under copyright.

Copyrights are divided into two categories: all rights reserved copyright and no rights reserved as the public domain. Even if no rights are reserved on a resource, it is still good practice to give credit to the source, thereby modelling to students how to avoid plagiarism by acknowledging the source of knowledge.

There are four symbols used for the licenses.

Also, Creative Commons promote openness, collaboration and shared human creativity.
